|Charge Detection Module
Gen 1.5 Only
Just updating the web to get caught up in the details of things.
This module watches the BatMon Isolator Circuit for OVP acitvity and throttles the charge current when
OVP is initiated.. This helps to reduce the potential of gassing while near the end of charge voltage for the
battery while keeping the charge power high. It can switch between the maximum charger current and a
limited current based on a series 3 ohm resistor. It also initiates the Float mode to the charger when the
charge current falls below a predetermined setpoint, and has the capability (via internal jumper) to cycle
between Float and Charge modes. When the DC-DC is operating, the Charge Detection Module is
powered ON to allow the traction pack current to pass through the Charge Detection Module back into
the DC-DC input to power the DC-DC block inside the Charger.
